Television camerawork and production has been my life's work. My career in television began at  the 7 Network in Perth where I developed the foundation skills  of covering live studio, outside broadcast and single camera field production. I then had the opportunity to finely hone those skills further as a lighting/cameraman working as the senior cameraman for the 7 Perth's commercial production unit "Viz Ad".

As head of department at Perth10 Network station NEW 10, supervising all studio, outside broadcast and field production camera operations  I was given the opportunity to direct, shoot and produce segments for different programmes broadcast by the station .

I have been actively involved in Observational Documentary production for many years including 11 years working on "The Force" an internationally broadcast Police series produced by the 7 Network.

In that role I was responsible for the day to day logistics of the unit including crew organization, data management, liaising with a large government department that has strict legal and organizational requirements as well as spending daily shifts on patrol filming and producing stories with operational Police units.

Since then I have worked on many Australian and International observational documentary series in both the Shooter/Director and camera operator role.  

​

 At present I have a Sony FX6 digital cinematography camera kit customized to fit the shooter/producer role featuring bespoke camera mounts, prime lenses, led lighting and associated support equipment. I am also accomplished in the use of mini cam POV cameras , drone piloting and timelapse  photography.

During the course of my career journey, I have worked on many other genres of Television production including Current Affairs, Lifestyle, Travel and Infotainment productions .

Live Sport Broadcasting is the other  area of television production I have specialized in from the beginning of my career to the present day.  I have covered live sport in all its forms. Including AFL, Rugby, Golf, Tennis, Basketball, Netball, Soccer, Motorsport and any other form of human endeavor where two teams meet in gladiatorial combat.

To finish,  I am an experienced industry professional with an extensive background in television production with broadcasters and production companies  both here in Australia and internationally. As well as being an accomplished production lighting/cameraman I also have recognized skills both as a field producer and

 shooter/producer.
